Kylian Mbappe continues his remarkable rise among football’s elite, surpassing French legend Thierry Henry with 235 goals across Europe’s top five leagues. The Real Madrid star achieved the feat in just 291 matches, cementing his place among the game’s greatest forwards.

Kylian Mbappe continues to etch his name into football history, surpassing fellow French icon Thierry Henry’s record of 233 goals in Europe’s top five leagues. The Real Madrid forward reached the milestone after scoring twice in Los Blancos’ emphatic 4–0 victory over Valencia on Saturday night, bringing his career tally to 235 league goals.

The achievement adds to a growing list of records for Mbappe, who earlier this year overtook Henry on the UEFA Champions League all-time scorers chart. The 2018 World Cup winner now ranks sixth overall in that prestigious list and has also surpassed Henry to become France’s second-highest all-time goalscorer.

What makes this feat even more extraordinary is the pace at which Mbappé has accomplished it—reaching 235 goals in just 291 matches. Henry, by comparison, needed 459 appearances to reach 233 goals.

An Unstoppable Run in La Liga

Mbappé’s brace against Valencia marked his eighth consecutive La Liga match with a goal—his longest scoring streak since joining Real Madrid. After a brief adjustment period in Spain, the 26-year-old has hit peak form, leading both the Pichichi race and the Champions League Golden Boot standings, where he’s tied with Harry Kane on five goals.

With 13 league goals this season, Mbappé also leads all players across Europe’s top five leagues, matching Manchester City’s Erling Haaland in the Premier League.
