FC Milima Queens and Kisiwa Starlets secured their spots in the quarterfinals of the FKF Women Cup after defeating FKF Women Premier League opponents Nakuru City Queens and Vihiga Queens, respectively, on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Sudi Stadium.
The first half saw no breakthroughs, with both teams unable to threaten the goal. However, the second half saw a turnaround in fortunes. Barbara Masitsa opened the scoring for Milima Queens in the 47th minute, followed by Eunice Nabwoba's brace in the 81st and 88th minutes, sealing a 3-0 victory.
In the early kickoff of the doubleheader at Sudi Stadium, Kisiwa Starlets clinched a narrow victory against Vihiga Queens with a lone goal scored by Shamim Makokha in the 32nd minute.
Meanwhile, over at MamboLeo Stadium, Kenya Police Bullets also booked their spot in the quarterfinals after defeating KISPED with a 2-0 win. Lucy Kwekwe netted the opening goal for Bullets in the 31st minute, maintaining the lead into halftime, followed by Diana Wacera's goal in the 54th minute.
