Ondrejka’s Double Inspires Stunning Parma Comeback, Roma Down Torino

Serie A served up late drama on Sunday night as Parma overturned a two-goal deficit to beat Atalanta 3-2, while Roma eased past Torino in Turin.

At the Gewiss Stadium, it looked like being Daniel Maldini’s night as the Atalanta forward struck twice in the space of a minute to put his side 2-0 up by the 33rd minute. The home fans were in full voice at halftime, but what followed was a second-half collapse few saw coming.

Parma, fighting to end their season on a high, came out swinging after the break. Antoine Hainaut pulled one back in the 49th minute, clinically finishing from inside the box. The momentum shifted, and Jacob Ondrejka took over. First, he levelled in the 71st minute with a precise right-footed finish before completing the turnaround deep into stoppage time with a dramatic winner — this time with his left foot, after a perfect setup by Adrián Bernabé.

The final whistle confirmed a famous victory for Parma, who showed resilience and hunger in a rollercoaster match.

Elsewhere at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, Roma controlled proceedings against a lacklustre Torino side. Leandro Paredes opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 18th minute, coolly placing his effort into the bottom left corner. Alexis Saelemaekers then doubled Roma’s lead early in the second half with a well-taken header from a Matías Soulé cross.

Roma managed the game professionally from there, securing a 2-0 win to close their campaign on a positive note.
