Paris Saint-Germain left it late to claim all three points at the Parc des Princes, edging past a spirited Nice side 1-0 thanks to Gonçalo Ramos’ 94th-minute header.
In a tightly contested first half, PSG dominated possession but struggled to break down Nice’s compact structure. Bradley Barcola twice went close but failed to beat Yehvann Diouf, while the visitors nearly took a shock lead when Juma Bah’s close-range effort was cleared off the line by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
With the score still goalless at the interval, Luis Enrique made attacking changes to inject more urgency. Vitinha came closest with a fierce long-range strike that Diouf brilliantly tipped over, while substitute Ramos fired narrowly wide as PSG began to ramp up the pressure.
Diouf, outstanding throughout, seemed destined to earn Nice a valuable point after making several key saves late on. But in the final seconds, the breakthrough finally arrived Lee Kang-in’s corner was flicked on by Kvaratskhelia, and Ramos stooped to head home the decisive goal, sparking wild celebrations among the home supporters.
Next up, PSG turn their attention to a massive Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on November 4, while Nice host Freiburg in the Europa League two days later.
