Arsenal’s unstoppable form continued with a commanding 3-0 victory over Slavia Prague in the Champions League. Goals from Bukayo Saka and a Mikel Merino brace sealed the win, extending the Gunners’ run to eight straight clean-sheet victories across all competitions equalling an English top-flight record.

Arsenal made it eight consecutive wins without conceding as they swept aside Slavia Prague 3-0 in the Czech capital. The Gunners were made to work early on but once Bukayo Saka converted from the penalty spot, there was no looking back for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Merino doubled the lead just 37 seconds into the second half, finishing Leandro Trossard’s cross with precision. The Spanish midfielder later added his second of the night, heading home from Declan Rice’s perfectly lofted pass to put the result beyond doubt.

Slavia barely threatened, managing just 0.46 expected goals as Arsenal’s defensive pairing of Saliba and Gabriel remained unbreakable. VAR overturned a late penalty that could have denied Arsenal another clean sheet, confirming White was actually fouled.

The victory keeps Arsenal top 3 of the Champions League table with maximum points from four games, while Slavia remain winless with only two points.

Next up, Slavia face Viktoria Plzen in domestic action, while Arsenal return to the Premier League to meet Sunderland before the international break.
