Arsenal secured a comfortable 2-0 win over relegation-threatened Luton Town on Wednesday, propelling them back to the summit of the Premier League.

Arsenal reclaimed the Premier League's top spot with a 2-0 victory over a resilient Luton team. The win propelled Mikel Arteta's side past second-placed Liverpool, who are set to face Sheffield United at Anfield on Thursday evening.

Martin Odegaard broke the deadlock on 24 minutes, slotting home a pass from Kai Havertz. The goal stemmed from Emile Smith Rowe's pressure on Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, leading to a well-coordinated play between Odegaard and Havertz, with the latter returning the favor to set up the goal.

A minute before halftime, Reiss Nelson finished off a move initiated by Smith Rowe. Yet, it was determined by the authorities that it would count as a Hatters' Hashioka's own goal.

In what turned out to be a "comfortable" win, where Arsenal's diligence neutralized the energetic Hatters led by Rob Edwards, Takehiro Tomiyasu came close to adding a third goal late in the second half with a curling effort from long range, narrowly missing the target.
