But Sofapaka, buoyed by their home support, mounted a spirited fightback. Veteran forward Stanley Atsangu reduced the deficit in the 82nd minute with a well-taken goal, setting up a tense finale. Deep into stoppage time, Joseph Kuloba leveled matters with a decisive strike that sent the Sofapaka fans into wild celebrations.
The result sees Sofapaka earn a valuable point, maintaining their steady form as they prepare for upcoming fixtures against Nairobi United on November 1st (19:00) and Bandari FC on November 8th (15:00).
